I’ve Got a Feeling
A Thinking Gym Playground to Strengthen Your Intuition
The “I’ve Got a Feeling”
Playground
One of the advantages that human beings have over AI is that AI can simulate intuitive-looking judgments, but it doesn’t experience a human hunch or gut feeling. In the Age of AI, that makes strengthening your own intuition all the more important!
But that also presents a problem. AI has no human intuition, and so using AI to test and strengthen your own intuition might seem, well, counterintuitive. That’s what makes this Playground so interesting!
The “I’ve Got a Feeling“
Brain Games
Working together, these Brain Games form a three-part Intuition workout:
- Trust Your Gut – Can I make and monitor an intuitive judgment under uncertainty?
- Something Doesn’t Fit – Can I sense a pattern violation before I can explain it?
- Predict What Happens Next – Can I recognize subtle patterns in human situations and discover what produced my hunch?
Best of all, when the exercise is completed, AI then helps you examine whether your intuition was useful.
Extra credit: To get the best use out of these Games, write your confidence down someplace before discovering the answer. As you do the exercises repeatedly, you’re not only exercising your intuition, you’re learning when your own intuition deserves more (or less) trust.

Strengthen Your Intuition

One of the advantages that human beings have over AI is that AI has no intuition… and people do. (They may not use it, but they have it.) In the Age of AI, that makes strengthening your own intuition all the more important!

These Brain Games exercise three different intuitive abilities: making a judgment before consciously analyzing, recognizing patterns without knowing exactly why, and sensing that something doesn’t fit.
