Analyze an Argument
In your daily life, you are possibly deluged with persuasive arguments. And some of their claims may sound very reliable… until you dig deeper into what they’re saying.
By strengthening your ability to analyze an argument,
- you’ll be able to separate facts from emotional rhetoric in news and politics (especially important in an election year!);
- your problem-solving skills will likely improve;
- you’ll become better at detecting fallacies;
- and (perhaps best of all) when you understand how arguments are built, it will help you write and speak more clearly, and develop better arguments of your own.
This Brain Game is short and reasonably quick to do, but it’s also powerful!
